Carousel Adoption Program
Adopt a piece of history, create your own legacy for generations to come.
At the core of our fundraising activities is a classic multi-tiered adoption program, with the ability to “adopt a pony”, “adopt a chariot, “adopt an art panel”, adopt virtually all parts of the carousel. Adopter recognition is a principle component of the program, and every adopter’s name will be findable on the carousel.
Adopt-A-Pony or Chariot
We have three pony adoption levels, based on whether the ponies are the bejeweled outside row ponies, or are on the middle or inside rows. All pony adopters will have a brass recognition plaque located near the adopted pony, and the right to “name” the pony.
We also have three chariot adoption opportunities: the two original double bench seat chariots and the newly added ADA single bench chariot, which has been created from a matching c1920 Alan Herschell single bench chariot panel.
Flexible payment schedules can easily be accommodated, as can group adoptions.

There are many wonderful and varied components that make up our carousel, from the Rounding Board Shields, with the theme of The Four Winds, to our two wonderfully carved chariots, to one of our 36 brass horse poles, to the artwork of the rounding boards and interior art panels. There are many unique opportunities to adopt a piece of history, and create one’s own legacy for generations to come.
